I took a short backpacking trip, starting from the West side of the Sierra. I drove up Highway 168 and Kaiser Pass Road to a trailhead called Bear Creek Diversion. I’d never been anywhere near there before. I hiked up the Bear Creek Trail to the Pacific Crest Trail, then up into some high lakes off the PCT. Great trip!
